A Green Story

 Been raining a lot lately

...

I love my sunshines I really do

But recently

well

....

I've been enjoying certain aspects of the rain

There is a calming after the storm

And I am left absolutely struck by the green of the leaves 

Against the cool grey of the skies

I find myself walking just a tad bit slower

Because somehow when it rains

The absence of sunlight brings forth the true highlights and lowlights of the leaves

The tones are more vivid

Much more dynamic

What can I say

Hopelessly obsessed with the beauty that is nature
