Carvens Lissaint was among the talented young artists that filled the room with power

Subway Performance

No doubt

There's a very entertaining aspect of street/subway performers

Yes there are the ones that make you turn your headphones all the way up

Eyes closed

Pretending to sleep

But every now and then

In come the good ones

 those that keep your eyes glued

Cell phone cameras out:

All that charisma

Backflips, spins and splits

Definitely makes that ride on the A train even more interesting

Wafels and Dinges

An NYC highlight:

Those food trucks

I've seen it all

From the classic Halal

To tacos, cupcakes, lobster and sushi

As much as I tried to stay away the calorie filled ones

I had to try Wafels & Dinges

(afterall, I had a good "healthy living" week)

As I stood there staring at the menu

The proud chef went ahead and bragged about the day his waffles beat Bobby Flay's on Throwdown

That was all I needed to validate my sweet decision

For my choice of dinges he suggested the Spekuloos 

A sweet peanut buttery concoction

Smoothed on top of a warm fluffy yet crisp waffle

Topped with whipped cream

Sprinkled with powdered sugar

. . .

Perfect!
